ew Tree Chapel was converted and completed by us in 2004
In 2005 th e North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural
Beauty gave us a Conservation Award. We have been in the
TV programmes: Property Matters and Cumbrian Gardens.
Slaggyford means Muddy Ford. There is a burn and the South Tyne within walking distance,
both of which can be fished, the otters and herons already do so.! Our front gate is right on
The Pennine Way a long distance path which is also used by the Lands End to John O Groats
walkers. Just 25 mins away is Hadrians Wall. If you like gardens some of our favourites are
