We are fortunate to have a wide variety of habitats on our doorstep. Moorland, woodland, and riverside. We regularly see Buzzards and Herons, and here the woodpeckers. The Osprey's are nearby at Buttermere. There is an RSPB reserve nearby for the Red Grouse. For more specialised knowledge go to: |
